My husband and I live in Dripping Springs in an "empty nest". Our three sons live in North Texas. We are the proud grandparents of two beautiful little girls, Ava and Olivia. We both graduated with education degrees and have spent our professional lives helping others to learn. I am the 4th/5th Grade Gifted and Talented Specialist for Dripping Springs ISD. I support the 5th grade GT students at all three elementary campuses, as well as 4th grade at Walnut Springs.

Philosophy of Education
I believe that my role as an educator is to guide my students toward a love for learning. Each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and positive environment in which to grow emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I believe there are three keys to a classroom where learning occurs: a caring teacher who serves as a guide to students in the learning process; a safe environment where students can be risk-takers as they explore rich content and rigorous curriculum; and a respectful community of learners where students can respect others and be respected.
